Phyllis Loudermill
As a proud graduate of the CAP program in the early 2000's, she became the proud owner of HERCOnstruction. She has over 20 years of experience in construction, creating Apprenticeship Programs across the State of Michigan and other areas around the country. Through her company, HERCO, she has provided training and workforce development across the state of Michigan with 1191 Laborers of Detroit. She has been a MSHDA Contractor for over 20 years and the proud creator of Trading Places, which she partnered with the Department of Labor, the Michigan Department of Corrections, and the 1191 Laborers of Detroit. Through Job creation and Housing Opportunity, HERCO has been very influential in creating wealth and securing job security for Michiganders.
Joi Mcintosh
Holding a degree in Fashion Design Joi extends beyond the design studio by translating the precision and attention to detail required in fashion into the corporate world. Driven by a genuine love for seeing projects through from conception to completion she manages complex schedules, coordinates events, and provides support to Michigan Training.
DaeJona Gordon
DaeJona has 5 years experience with social media marketing that she gained through internships and paid positions. She is in her last year at Wayne State University as a marketing major with a concentration in advertising. She is also a creative graphic designer/artist and a photographer who has been seen at various art shows in Detroit, New York and Boston. She finds joy in helping people grow and learn!
Patrick graduated from the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He has helped to start three different construction related businesses and directly overseen millions of dollars' worth of construction and demolition work.
